Dr. Chandan Walia, DDS, is a Specialist Surgeon, who has been exclusively trained in Implantology and Periodontics and has placed over 5000 Dental Implants. He has been a practicing Implantologist | Periodontist since 2006 and works full time at Implants & Periodontal Arts Surgical Center, located in Chandler, Arizona since 2016.

His initial training began in 2001, when he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, DDS from the acclaimed New York University.

Dr. Walia completed a year of specialized training in Oral Medicine at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey, and followed it, by being selected as a Chief Resident in Advanced Hospital Dentistry at NYU Langone Hospital, in Brooklyn, New York.

In 2003, he began his 3 year Surgical Specialty training in the field of Implant Dentistry and Periodontology from the prestigious University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey.

After the Post Graduation in 2006, he was a visiting clinical attending at various prestigious hospitals, trained dental residents in the New York City area, and maintained a private practice before he moved to the Southwest.

Dr. Walia is committed to providing the highest standards of care and state-of-the-art treatment available. He encourages all patients to be well informed about their treatment choices and build trust to enhance optimum oral health.

He is a Dental Board Consultant in the field of Periodontology with the Arizona Dental Board and is also licensed in the states of New York, California, Nevada and Arizona.

In his free time, he loves to travel the world, play golf and tennis, enjoy music, and spend time with family.

Robert D. Carpenter Jr, DMD

Anesthesiologist

Following graduation from Marist College in 2012, with a BS in Biomedical Science, Robert came to the Phoenix area to pursue graduate education at Midwestern University, Glendale AZ. A one-year Masters of Arts Degree in Biomedical Science turned into a five-year stay, culminating with graduation from Midwestern University as Doctor of Dental Medicine. Robert earned several awards during graduation, including the Horace Wells Senior Student Award from the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology in 2017.

After graduation from Midwestern University, Robert, interested in anesthesia from the start, earned his moderate parenteral IV sedation certification before entering a general dental private practice in 2017. After one year of general dental practice, incorporating moderate parenteral IV sedation, he decided to pursue anesthesia more permanently, and applied for residency. After the completion of a 3-year CODA approved residency in Dental Anesthesiology at St. Barnabas Hospital, CUNY School of Medicine, Bronx, NY., Robert moved back to the Phoenix area to open his own private practice in the summer of 2021, Midwest Anesthesia Group.
